In France, while despairing at the Bleus’ defeat, doubts are being raised over the refereeing and Mbappé, already crowned as the ruler of football for the next decade, is consoling himself
Fabrizio Biasin, journalist for libero, also thinks so: Mbappé is the strongest ever. Speaking to the microphones of calciomercato.it, on the Twitch TVPLAY channel, the Inter journalist praised the great finish of the French number 7.
The French claim that Messi’s second goal in extra time should have been annulled. Why? Because of the Argentine players already on the pitch from the bench to celebrate. But, at the same time, the transalpines are rejoicing in the performance of phenomenon Kylian Mbappé, a guy who seems to everyone destined to take up the legacy of Messi and Ronaldo as football’s new ruler.
Biasin spoke to calciomercato.it, on the Twitch TVPLAY channel, precisely to comment on yesterday’s World Cup final: “Mbappé is sensational, for me he is the strongest,” said the journalist.
“I still think it was the most beautiful final ever,” Biasin followed. “Yesterday changed football! Yesterday until the 80th minute it was a one-sided match, but then, in the last half-hour, they went to a higher level in terms of superiority, actions and level. These combinations make you think we experienced something rare and unique”.
Mbappé new ruler of football, Biasin’s opinion
For Biasin, France did not enter the game for the entire first half. “Even Mbappé didn’t exist on the pitch at all for the first half. I am speaking on a psychological level, let’s be clear. Afterwards France’s ability was to come out of this situation. Messi deserves everything, but Mbappé for me is already the strongest ever, he does some impressive things’. Then, of course, the journalist congratulated Messi, who made the most of his last chance to reach the roof of the world.
Finally, Biasin also spoke about the refereeing controversy. According to him, the referee was very good. “The Polish referee’s performance was superb. He was on the level of Messi and Mbappé. To see and not whistle that penalty in the 80th minute is a lot, I don’t know if VAR would have intervened in that case. Big applause, really.
A comment also on Lautaro Martinez, an Inter player and therefore dear to Biasin. “For me, Lautaro came in very well. He played a good game, no doubt about it, and he deservedly returns to Milan as a world champion.”
