Wednesday 26 July predictions: Champions League, Conference League

by Michael

Wednesday 26 July predictions, not only cups: some interesting luxury friendlies are being played around the world.

The preliminary rounds continue apace in the Champions League and Conference League: in Europe’s top competition, the first leg of the second qualifying round is complete.

Ludogorets, after the big scare against Ballkani from Kosovo, should take no risks against Olimpia Ljubljana, while great balance is expected between Sheriff Tiraspol and Maccabi Haifa, two teams who have a good chance of making it to the group stage of the most important cup. Watch out for the Klaksvik Lighthouses, who scalped Ferencvaros in the first round: Hacken is warned. In the Conference League, the spotlight is on Edin Dzeko’s Fenerbahçe: a possible goleada against Zimbru from Moldova. Struga and Neman Grodno are also favourites over Buducnost and Balzan respectively.

Other match predictions

There are also games in Switzerland, where Lugano goes in search of heavy points at home to Stade Ls Ouchy. Finally, there are many luxury friendlies around the world. In Japan, Bayern Munich and Manchester City will not skimp on spectacle, while in the United States Real Madrid and Manchester United will play each other: both should score.
