Looking at the standings, you might not think so, but Venezia and Parma are on the verge of ending a frankly disappointing first half of the season. And both are in a position that is not at all the one they hoped to occupy at the start of the season.
The Emilians started with the intention of not repeating last year’s mistakes, when they even finished out of the playoffs. On the contrary, in this month of December, Venezia had given comforting signs, also thanks to the arrival of Paolo Vanoli on the bench. Parma are not consistent but remain a team potentially capable of beating anyone in this Serie B. In our opinion, the Emiliani are slight favourites, also because Pecchia’s bench could start to wobble in the event of a further defeat. We expect at least two goals in total in the match at the ‘Penzo’, bearing in mind that the Veneti have always scored at least one goal in the last six matches.
