Tuesday 21 March predictions: League One, League Two and more

by Martin

Tuesday 21 March predictions: pending the start of the European Championship qualifiers, there are League One, League Two and other leagues

There are two top-flight recoveries in League One: Accrington-Plymouth and Barnsley-Sheffield Wednesday. Plymouth fighting for direct promotion should have no problem against Accrington struggling not to relegate. The last three previous fixtures between the two teams have seen Plymouth always score at least three goals, again a high scoring affair is expected.

Decidedly more balanced Barnsley-Sheffield Wednesday. With a win Barnsley – who have won seven of their last eight games – could be in with a chance of promotion, but their opponents are unbeaten in their last 23 league games and have no intention of relinquishing top spot.
