Sunday 9 July predictions: games are played in both Brazil and Norway. Also on the field is the team that is dominating the Brasileirao, Botafogo.
The fourteenth day of the Brasileirao, Brazil’s top league, comes to an end. Leading Botafogo have a great chance to stretch their lead over second place in a direct clash with second-placed Gremio. Another good news, for the Bianconeri, is the draw between Palmeiras and Flamengo, the two most credible pursuers who drew 1-1 last night. Exploiting the Porto Alegre stadium, however, will not be a walk in the park, and it will be an entertaining match with at least three goals in total.
The Bragantino is confident, has won three games in a row, and could get the better of a limping Sao Paulo at home. A possible surprise? Fortaleza’s victory against Athletico Paranaense.
Other match predictions
Looks are also on the radar in Norway, where Molde are aiming to make up ground after their excellent draw (2-2) against leaders Bodo: Brann are less scary away from home. There should be no shortage of goals in the matches between Odd and Bodo/Glimt and Rosenborg and Lillestrom. At least one goal each in Superettan, too, in Kalmar-Elfsborg.
