Serie C, group A: The fifth round of the Italian third division is played. Predictions for the matches scheduled for 24 September
The Serie C, Round A, which has already given some very important signs of what the season could be like in the first few weeks, takes the field for the fifth round. In the meantime, at the top, there is that Pordenone that last year ended the cadet championship early – given the sure relegation, a verdict that came as early as mid-March – that seems to have every intention of returning to Serie B. Followed, obviously, by Padova, who try every year and fail, but also by FeralpiSalò, who seem to be well equipped.
This is obviously as far as the teams in front are concerned: Piacenza (only one point with eight goals conceded and only two conceded) and Albinoleffe, who have only managed two draws, are not doing well at the back. These two teams have tasted Serie B – but in the first case also Serie A, as you all remember -. But they do not manage to get back in front. In C it is really difficult to maintain a prediction unless you are a big team built to kill the championship.

Padua
Pordenone first in the standings hosts Padova who are chasing right behind. Big match of the day of course and a match that could give at least one goal per team. Piacenza host Albinoleffe, who as mentioned before are the ones chasing behind. A victory for the hosts could really fit. FeralpiSalò should also come out with a positive result from the field of Virtus Verona; here, the double chance is almost a must. Finally, the challenge between Pro Patria and Renate could give at least three goals in total.
