Serie C, five postponements scheduled: in addition to the challenge between Benevento and Potenza, games are also played in the B round.
There are five postponements of the 11th day of Serie C: four matches in Group B and only one in Group C. Let’s start with the latter: at the “Vigorito” the challenge between Benevento and Potenza is staged, with the hosts called upon to keep up with fellow countrymen Juve Stabia and Avellino, who both won over the weekend.
To stay -2 from Guido Pagliuca’s Vespas, who yesterday immediately restarted after the defeat in Caserta by beating Latina by a narrow margin, Matteo Andreoletti’s Giallorossi will have to recover from “pareggite”: three of the last four matches involving the Samnites have ended in a deadlock, including last Thursday’s midweek match with Foggia (0-0). Benevento, however, will have to watch out for Potenza, which under new coach Franco Lerda scored four points between Giugliano (0-0) and Sorrento (3-0). Slight preference for the Campani but it cannot be ruled out that the Rossoblù also manage to score at least one goal in a potentially entertaining match. On the other hand, as far as the B group is concerned, all eyes will be on the Cesena match: the Romagnoli must take advantage of the half-failure of the leading Torres and after the two draws with Sestri Levante and Pineto, Mimmo Toscano’s men should return to success against the ambitious Carrarese, which has little chance of returning with points in its pocket from the “Manuzzi”.
The predictions on the other matches
Frequenting the upper areas of the standings is also Gubbio, coached by the experienced Piero Braglia: the Rossoblù will be guests of Arezzo. The Tuscans are not going through an exciting moment: in the last four days they have almost exclusively cashed defeats, with the exception of the beautiful victory with Spal (3-1).
It looks like a balanced match, in which the Umbrians will likely manage to avoid defeat. The other match to keep an eye on is the one at the “Curi” stadium. Perugia is one of the biggies of this round and to avoid direct competitors (Torres, Cesena, Pescara) from running away, it cannot afford to stumble on Entella after the disappointing draw with Recanatese: expect at least two goals overall. Finally, we do not expect too many emotions in the challenge between Vis Pesaro and Pineto: a draw would not be a surprise.
