San Marino-Denmark is a match valid for the eighth day of Group H of the Euro 2024 qualifiers and is played on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m.: predictions.
According to initial predictions, Denmark should have overwhelmingly won this group, on paper largely within its reach. And instead Eriksen and his teammates with three days to go still have to sweat out qualification.
Blame for a few missteps, such as the resounding defeat in Kazakhstan (3-2) last March, or the draw in Slovenia in June (1-1). Otherwise, Kasper Hjulmand’s selection has little to blame. On Saturday it took revenge against the Kazakhs, closing the file early in the second half (3-1). Among the main protagonists was not Manchester United striker Hojlund or the former Inter midfielder. Instead, the scene was taken by Hoffenheim’s outside forward Skov, who scored a brace: the other goal was scored by another who plays in the Bundesliga, Wolfsburg center forward Windsburg. The success against Kazakhstan actually brings the red-and-whites closer to their goal: they are currently first on 16 points with Slovenia, which, however, will be on the scene in a tricky away match in Northern Ireland; the other two pursuers, Finland and Kazakhstan, are at -4 and will take points off each other in this round.
The Danes can qualify already now in only one case: if they beat – as is likely – San Marino and at the same time Slovenia does not lose and Finns and Kazakhs draw.

The certainty, of course, is that Denmark will get the better of the unassuming San Marino selection, always defeated so far. Twenty-four goals conceded and zero scored for Fabrizio Costantini’s men, who in official matches have failed to avoid defeat since 2020, in the Nations League match with England.
The prediction
The result is a foregone conclusion, better to head for the goals: Denmark should score at least four goals against San Marino, already swept 4-0 in the first leg.
