Pisa-Brescia, Serie B: streaming, odds, predictions

by Thorsten

Pisa-Brescia is a match of the eighteenth day of Serie B and is played Saturday at 18:00: likely formations, predictions, TV and streaming.

The trend of Pisa, now for two months, is always the same. The Nerazzurri, revitalised by the D’Angelo cure – the former coach recalled at the end of the season after the failure of the Maran experience – have alternated a home win and an away draw since last October. In the last nine games the trend has been this way, and on Sunday the away draw arrived punctually: another 0-0 after the previous week’s one at home to Bari.

This time, however, it had the aftertaste of victory, since it came against the leader Frosinone, a team that – with seven points ahead of third place – is trying to ‘kill’ this Serie B. A good point, then, for the Tuscans.

That, after the uncertain start and the change of technical guidance, see the playoff zone thanks to the long positive series: the Pisa, in fact, does not know defeat from twelve days. An eventual victory in the advance against Brescia, which at the moment has only one point more than Torregrossa and his companions, would allow D’Angelo’s men to officially re-enter the ‘group’ of teams that are trying to keep up with the ciociari and Reggina. Pep Clotet’s Rondinelle, however, are not doing well at all: on Monday they suffered their second home defeat against Parma (0-2); since September they have only beaten Spal and now they run the risk of sliding towards anonymity.

Pisa-Brescia: latest line-up news

Some changes in defence for D’Angelo, who must do without the disqualified Beruatto. Calabresi could be diverted to the right, while Esteves will move to the left. Nicolas and Caracciolo are unavailable

On the other side, Clotet recovers Huard, who will start from the bench, while Bertagnoli, still not at his best, remains in doubt. There is a change in the three-quarter due to Benali’s disqualification: it will be Olzer’s turn to support the attacking pair Moreo-Ayé.

The Prediction

Last August Pisa and Brescia faced each other in the Coppa Italia and it ended 4-1 for the Lombards. Now the situation seems to have completely turned upside down, with the Nerazzurri not missing a beat in front of their own public. Pisa favourite against a Brescia in free fall and that away from home does not win since September.

The probable formations of Pisa-Brescia

  • PISA (4-3-2-1): Livieri; Calabresi, Hermannsson, Barba, Esteves; Touré, Nagy, Marin; Morutan, Tramoni; Torregrossa.
  • BRESCIA (4-3-1-2): Lezzerini; Karacic, Adorni, Cistana, Mangraviti; Viviani, Van de Looi, Ndoj; Olzer; Moreo, Ayé.
