Northern Ireland v Kosovo, Nations League: TV, formations, predictions

by Martin

Northern Ireland-Kosovo is a match for match day five of Nations League C

NORTHERN IRELAND-KOSOVO | Saturday 6pm

Neither team has a chance of moving up to League B: both Northern Ireland and Kosovo are distant from Greece, who playing against Cyprus should have no problem – and will have none – in taking promotion. Of course, the home side, last on equal points in Group B of the Nations League, would be keen to take a win, perhaps with a burst of pride that could well come.

Of course, though, a team that draws against Cyprus, at home, can’t give all these positive feelings. Moreover, it has to be said, that Kosovo is one of those emerging national teams that is showing it can play this event. Yes, the feeling, however, is that Muriqi and his teammates certainly have no chance of taking an away win. Only one confrontation between the teams, the one played in June on opposite pitches: three to two for the then hosts.

The Prediction

The feeling is that Northern Ireland can take their revenge. Perhaps in a one-goal challenge per team. It’s hard to imagine the hosts going winless in this round.
