Milan-Torino is a match of the second day of Serie A and is played on Saturday at 8:45 pm: lineups, predictions, TV and streaming.
Curiosity to see the “new” Milan at work was plenty last Monday in the post-match of the first day of Serie A against Bologna. And Stefano Pioli’s team, revolutionized by the summer market, did not disappoint expectations: the Rossoneri offered a scintillating performance, winning a comfortable victory (0-2) on a difficult pitch and keeping pace with the other big names (Juventus, Inter, Napoli) who all won on their debut.
The new form (4-3-3) seems to be working like a charm, also thanks to the contribution of the summer signings: Reijnders has already taken over the midfield and has been one of the best in terms of both quantity and quality, not making Tonali regret (for now); also good was former Chelsea man Pulisic, who came up with a memorable goal. Pioli then restarted from some certainties, more and more granitic: at 37 years old Giroud still confirms himself as decisive for this Milan, and not by chance it was the experienced French center forward who put the Diavolo ahead, unlocking the game after 11 minutes. After Bologna, for Hernandez and his teammates comes the challenge with Ivan Juric’s Torino, a team that is never easy to face. New championship, old vices: the granata remain a defensively solid and not very permeable team but continue to struggle in the scoring phase, struggling to concretize the amount of play. Against Cagliari, Torino did not go beyond a 0-0 draw, nevertheless bringing home their first clean sheet of the season, their fifth in the last nine matches.
Milan-Torino: the latest lineup news
All available for Pioli, who will have to do without only Bennacer, unavailable at least until December. The starting eleven should be the same as in Bologna, with the trident formed by Leao, Pulisic and Giroud. In midfield, however, Loftus-Cheek and Reijnders will be seen again, while the only one risking his place is Krunic, tailed by former Valencia player Musah.
Juric must forgo the injured Djidji and Seck but there will be no major changes from the challenge with Cagliari. On the three-quarter it could be Radonjic’s turn to flank Vlasic: both will have the task of triggering Sanabria. In the middle, a ballot between Ilic-Tameze.
The prediction
The last Granata victory at San Siro, if we exclude the one obtained in the Coppa Italia last January, dates back to 2000. In recent confrontations between these two teams we have rarely witnessed spectacular and prolific matches. And this match should be no exception, with Milan in any case managing to unhinge Juric’s rearguard and thus take another three points after those of Bologna.
