Last November, Leeds’ League Cup adventure ended in the third round with a 1-0 defeat against Wolverhampton. Philippe Clement’s Monaco beat the Azzurri 1-0 and drew 1-1 with the Viola.
They had previously achieved the same result against Sevilla. They too will start in earnest on 28 December, the day Ligue 1 starts again.
