Juventus football club, Conte not renewing: current Tottenham coach’s comeback gains momentum. Here’s the situation
The situation regarding Antonio Conte, the current Tottenham coach, is still to be clarified. The only thing that is certain at the moment is one thing: the coach from Puglia has a contract that expires on 30 June and has not yet been renewed. Not that Spurs don’t want to, let’s be clear, but it is Conte who is apparently wavering. And there are several reasons for this, to be found mainly in the fact that the former Juventus and Inter trainer, among others, is not sure of the technical project he should have in the coming years. And then there is always the question of rogue nostalgia, which catches you just when you don’t want it to.
In short, the future is all to be written. And in Italy we know very well that Conte would gladly return. So much so that he would be waiting for a call from Turin – or perhaps even Milan – which would almost certainly make him make a definitive decision, that of not renewing.
Juventus football market, Conte’s return
This fact of non-innovo obviously alerted the bookmakers, who wasted no time and decided to immediately bank the possibility of Antonio Conte returning to Juventus. There has been much talk of this in recent months, especially when Allegri was thrown out of Europe’s top competition at the hands of Maccabi Haifa – because it was in that match that the Bianconeri lost the Champions League. Then the Turin side’s recovery, at least in the league, cooled the track a little.
That however has come back strong, especially after the resignation of Agnelli, Allegri’s true sponsor. So strong, in fact, that Sisal’s oddsmakers have decided to put the possibility of seeing Conte back on the Juventus bench next season at four times the stakes.
