Juventus-Bologna, Serie A: streaming, likely lineups, predictions

by Martin

Juventus-Bologna is a match from the second day of Serie A and is played Sunday at 6:30 p.m.: formations, predictions, TV and streaming.

A winning and convincing Juventus didn’t stumble on its debut in Udine, sealing the game already in the first half (0-3) and taking its first three points of the season without any major fears.

In Friuli, it was first of all the Juventus of Chiesa and Vlahovic – the former Fiorentina players both scored – but also of the “usual” Rabiot, who, like last year, confirmed himself as decisive in the scoring phase. But the main news concerns mainly the attitude shown on the field by Massimiliano Allegri’s men, who cornered Udinese from the very first minutes through the high pressing move. Nothing to do with that passive, almost surrendering and too wait-and-see team we were used to last season. Despite the immobility on the market – Lukaku eventually chose Roma, Vlahovic who will therefore remain in Turin – the Bianconeri seem to have all the right cards to at least insert themselves in the fight for the tricolor, especially in a year in which compared to the other pretenders to the Scudetto they are the only ones not engaged in European competitions. Staying full points and giving continuity to the fine success in Udine is the primary goal in the challenge with Bologna, defeated 2-0 in the opener by Milan.

The Felsini lost two starters such as Schouten and Arnautovic, some new faces arrived but still give the impression of being incomplete at the squad level. And its coach Thiago Motta, who in early press conferences had repeatedly complained about the market conducted by his club, knows this well: raising the bar from last year will not be easy.

Juventus-Bologna: the latest news on the lineups

Except for only De Sciglio, Allegri does not have to deal with injury absences. The lineup that will face Bologna will differ very little from the one that beat Udinese a week ago: the only change could be the rotation between Miretti and Fagioli – the latter now recovered – in midfield. Cambiaso, among the best on the field in Udine and currently ahead of Kostic in the hierarchies, will be confirmed.

Bologna’s bench will seat the two new signings, Karlsson and Ndoye, who are ready to help out as the game progresses. Behind Zirkzee, the only forward, will act Orsolini, Ferguson and Aebischer, while in defense, on the left, Lykogiannis is favored over Corazza.

The Prediction

Bologna hasn’t beaten Juventus in Turin for over 20 years and in the last few previous fixtures there have been very few times they have managed to avoid defeat. Bianconeri therefore favored in a match in which they should also collect their second clean sheet in a row, considering that the Emiliani did not shine from the offensive point of view with Milan.

The probable lineups of Juventus-Bologna

  • JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Szczesny; Danilo, Bremer, Alex Sandro; Weah, Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabiot, Cambiaso; Chiesa, Vlahovic.
  • BOLOGNA (4-2-3-1): Skorupski; Posch, Lucumì, Beukema, Lykogiannis; Moro, Dominguez; Orsolini, Ferguson, Aebischer; Zirkzee.

POSSIBLE RESULT: 2-0
