The Felsini lost two starters such as Schouten and Arnautovic, some new faces arrived but still give the impression of being incomplete at the squad level. And its coach Thiago Motta, who in early press conferences had repeatedly complained about the market conducted by his club, knows this well: raising the bar from last year will not be easy.

Except for only De Sciglio, Allegri does not have to deal with injury absences. The lineup that will face Bologna will differ very little from the one that beat Udinese a week ago: the only change could be the rotation between Miretti and Fagioli – the latter now recovered – in midfield. Bologna hasn’t beaten Juventus in Turin for over 20 years and in the last few previous fixtures there have been very few times they have managed to avoid defeat.
