Iceland-Bosnia is a match on the sixth day of Euro 2024 qualifying Group J and is played Monday at 8:45 p.m.: predictions.
Iceland’s only joy in this Euro 2024 qualifying campaign is its overflowing victory against the uncompetitive Liechtenstein, the so-called bottom team in Group J, which was predictably dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
On the second day the Scandinavians took the Principality’s selection by storm (0-7) but as soon as the level rose they disappointed. With the exception of that goleada, in fact, Iceland has always lost, even against such a modest representative as Luxembourg, which not surprisingly is more than twenty positions behind in the Fifa ranking. In the Grand Duchy last Friday, Age Hareide’s men cashed in one of the most humiliating defeats in Iceland’s national history (3-1), which practically cuts them off – barring resounding comebacks – from the fight for the top two places, the only ones that ensure direct qualification to the next European championship. Second place, on the other hand, still appears within reach for Edin Dzeko’s Bosnia, which three days ago after three consecutive defeats – including the one with surprising Luxembourg – returned to a smile. Only the three points are to be saved, however, as the Balkans came close to not beating Liechtenstein.
After going ahead by two goals in the first 20 minutes, in fact, Bosnia went down. The guests then took advantage to shorten the gap and in the second half came close to a resounding equalizer in at least two circumstances.

The Prediction
Two selections that are not bursting with health but if there is one that is worse off that is certainly Iceland, beaten even by Luxembourg. Last March in the first leg match Bosnia prevailed 3-0 thanks to a brace from Milan’s Krunic and a goal from Dedic: this time as well, albeit with some difficulty, the Balkans should come out on top.
