France-Denmark official line-ups: predicted goalscorers, cautioned players and marksmen for the Blues
challenge.
After the initial scare, France sent out their first resounding message to the World Cup competitors, putting in a surging performance on the opening day and showing off all their offensive firepower. The Blues, who have to deal with the absence of Lucas Hernandez, want to close the qualification file already against Denmark. Here are the line-up choices of the two coaches:
- FRANCE (4-2-3-1): Lloris – Koundé, Varane, Upamecano, T.Hernandez – Tchouameni, Rabiot, Griezmann, Dembélé, Mbappé, Giroud.
- DENMARK (3-4-2-1): Schmeichel – Andersen, Christensen, Nelsson – Maehle, Eriksen, Höjberg, Kristensen – Lindström, Cornelius, Damsgaard.
France-Denmark, the scorers’ prediction
Antoine Griezmann could find the way of goal on at least one occasion. Le ‘Petit Diable’ will act as a link between the midfield and the attack, and it cannot be ruled out that the Atletico Madrid striker will find the way to goal by exploiting the movements of Mbappé and Giroud. Dembelé is also a tempting option for the more daring
Probable cautions and marksmen for France-Denmark
Christensen is likely to end up in the match director’s notebook. The Barcelona defender did not appear to be in top form, and could be put in big trouble by the speed and flair of Deschamps’ men. Refreshed by the last few bombastic displays, Adrien Rabiot should again be able to at least frame the opponent’s goal on one occasion.
