Denmark-Kazakhstan is a match valid for the seventh day of Euro 2024 qualifying Group H and is played Saturday at 8:45 p.m.: predictions.
Four matches remain to be played, but for Denmark, getting a pass to Euro 2024 will be no child’s play at all. The selection led by Kasper Hjulmand, who remained in charge despite a disappointing World Cup, has to share first place after six matches with surprising Slovenia, at 13 like the Danes. Behind, however, is a tussle: just one point behind (12) are Finland and Kazakhstan.
A balance that was difficult to predict at the time of the draw, as Denmark seemed to have qualification already in the bag. Eriksen and his teammates are paying for the absurd defeat they suffered last March on Kazakh soil, when they squandered a double lead by being inexplicably overturned in the last half hour of the game and even returning home empty-handed (3-2). The other misstep was in Slovenia, where Denmark did not go beyond a draw (1-1). Hjulmand and his men are still the big favorites for first place, but it will be crucial not to slip up in the next two games against Kazakhstan and San Marino, also “taking advantage” of the direct clash between Slovenia and Finland, who will take points off each other.
Denmark, which, after the tumble in Astana, has racked up four positive results: it won the last two challenges against San Marino (4-0) and Finland (0-1), without conceding a goal.
Kazakhstan players
Kazakhstan is also performing well, whose victory over Denmark was not an isolated case. Magomed Adiev’s selection beat Northern Ireland twice and overwhelmed, as predicted, the Sammarinese. It did not go well, however, against Slovenia and Finland: both were narrowly defeated at Astana Arena. Kazakhstan, in any case, is certain to at least play in the play-offs as the winner of its League C group in the Nations League. Hjulmand will be able to field the best possible lineup, bolstered by a Hojlund who is starting to score consistently in a Manchester United shirt. For his part, Adiev will focus on midfielder Tagybergen, already scoring twice in the qualifiers (he has already castigated Denmark).

Denmark should not make any missteps this time: the Scandinavian selection is clear favorite in a match in which there will most likely be no shortage of goals.
