Fiorentina want to arrive ready for their first official outing of 2023: the home league match against Monza. It is probably for this reason that the team coached by Vincenzo Italiano has decided to draw up a dense programme of friendlies. They have already played four of them since training resumed.

In these friendlies, Italiano’s men have never scored less than two goals: the 9 against the Bolivians of Always Ready and the 3 against Rapid Bucharest, coached by a great and unforgettable ex like Mutu, stand out. More significant was the 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund, who were, however, packed with reserves. From Romania, Fiorentina moved to Corsica, where they will face Bastia, a club that plays in the French Ligue 2. A probing test, considering that the Corsican team will take the field on Boxing Day.
Against Bastia, Kouamé, stopped by lumbago, will not play. Confirmed instead is the youngster Bianco, who will play again as a high centre forward in the 4-2-3-1.
The Prediction
Florentin should be able to secure another victory, which would be the fifth consecutive victory in the friendlies played since December: the Viola have not missed a beat so far. A match with at least three goals in total is to be expected.
