Monday 5 September predictions: Serie A, La Liga, Super Lig

by Sabrina

Football predictions for Monday 5 September, the fifth day of Serie A concludes on Monday with no less than three postponements scheduled: starting at 18:30 with Monza-Atalanta and Salernitana-Empoli, then at 20:45 Torino-Lecce. The team coached by Stroppa after yesterday’s draw at Cremonese remained the only one still with zero points: against Atalanta it will not be easy to avoid defeat in a match in which both teams could score goals.

Other predictions

Salernitana have built a team capable of achieving salvation with far less fuss than last season: against Empoli in an Arechi stadium as always full of enthusiasm they should at least avoid defeat. Torino will try to immediately forget the first defeat of the season at home against Lecce: mission within reach for Juric’s team.

The Turkish Super Lig will also be on the pitch, with Galatasaray’s former Italians Torreira, Sergio Oliveira and Mertens facing Gaziantep at home.
