Celta Vigo-Real Madrid, La Liga: tv, streaming, lineups, predictions

by Martin

Celta Vigo-Real Madrid is a match of the third day of La Liga and is played on Friday at 9:30 pm: formations, predictions, TV and streaming.

Among the most successful transactions of this soccer market session, at least as far as we have seen so far, is the one that brought Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. The Blancos rarely misplace a purchase but few expected this impact of the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder in the early days of the league.

The Englishman immediately fitted perfectly into Carlo Ancelotti’s game plan, who, to facilitate his inclusion, abandoned the 4-3-3 and switched to a less rigid 4-3-1-2, with Bellingham in the role of trequartista behind the two forwards. As a result, the Birmingham native is already on three goals, spread between Athletic Bilbao (0-2) and Almeria (1-3). Two away matches and two victories, also quite clear-cut for Real Madrid, with full points along with fellow countrymen Rayo Vallecano and Ruben Baraja’s surprising Valencia. It is still too early to make calculations and tables, but already having a two-point lead over Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, the two direct competitors for that title that ended up in Catalonia last year, is a great start.

And the absence of a goleador like Benzema, for the moment, is not being felt: Real is the team that in 180′ of La Liga has scored the most goals, five.

Bellingham, but not only. The Brazilian attacking pair Vinicius-Rodrygo – whom Ancelotti will soon find again in the national team – did not disappoint expectations, finding the way to goal in both Bilbao and Andalusia. Real Madrid, which for the third time in a row will play away from its “Bernabeu”: this time we travel to Galicia, to face the Celta Vigo of former Rafa Benitez, who in 2015 took Ancelotti’s very place on the Blancos’ bench. One loss and one draw (0-2 against Osasuna and 1-1 with Real Sociedad) for the Galicians, who just said goodbye to their starlet Gabri Veiga: it seemed all set with Napoli, instead he will leave for Al-Ahli, in Saudi Arabia.

The prediction

Transfer and opponent not to be underestimated for Real Madrid, which in any case arrives in Galicia with important certainties and enthusiasm for the two victories with Bilbao and Almeria. Blancos favored but the feeling is that against Celta Vigo it will not be a walkover.
