Wednesday 28 December predictions: Premier League and Ligue 1

by Martin

Wednesday 28 December predictions: Premier League and Ligue 1 reopen with PSG in action.

After the Premier League, the second European league to reopen after the World Cup break in Qatar is France’s Ligue 1. Among the first teams to take the field will be Messi and Mbappé’s PSG, protagonists of a memorable duel in the Argentina-France final in Lusail, which has already gone down in history as one of the most fascinating ever.

While Messi will still enjoy a few days’ rest, Mbappé as well as Hakimi, Neymar and other World Cup stars have already returned ready to take the capital club to the roof of France and perhaps even Europe. In order to arrive at the hot stages of the Champions League with the French title already in their pocket, PSG will try to accelerate until February, starting with tonight’s challenge against Strasbourg absolutely within reach.
