In the Granata defensive trio Juric might prefer Vojvoda to Lovato, while in midfield Tameze is asking for space: the former Verona man is likely to duet with Ilic. As a result Ricci will be moved a few meters further forward, in the role usually filled by the injured Vlasic (season already over for the Croatian). Up front more Sanabria than Okereke.
On the other side, Pioli has to give up starting goalkeeper Maignan, unavailable as well as Mirante, Kjaer, Loftus-Cheek and Chukwueze. Gabbia, disqualified, is also out. Kalulu should again win the ballot with Calabria, in the middle instead wide to the Musah-Reijnders tandem.
