Thiago Motta turns Juventus around: the new Juventus coach has different ideas than Massimiliano Allegri and is ready to plant the revolution. Here’s what could happen
There is no official announcement yet but it is only a matter of time and nothing more. Thiago Motta, who a couple of days ago ended his motorcycle trip with his wife from Bologna to Barcelona, will be the new coach of Juventus. And of course he will bring his ideas not only to the field but also to the market.
A half revolution some say. Because if from Turin has already said goodbye to Alex Sandro, one of Allegri’s loyalists whose contract has not been renewed, it is not certain that other elements linked so much to the Livorno-born could not say goodbye. What is certain is that Motta’s hand will be there, big time. And this also leads to another consideration that whether one wants to or not one has to make. Contract termination apparently could be around the corner.
Thiago Motta turns Juve around: also risks De Sciglio
Mattia De Sciglio has always been a loyalist of Massimiliano Allegri since his time at AC Milan. Then in his move to the Bianconeri, he also found space at Juventus along with the coach who launched him and also signed a contract renewal valid until 2025. The season that recently went on record he spent it mostly in the infirmary given his knee injury and he may find very little space next year.
This is why over the course of the next few weeks, as Motta takes full possession of his new team, he may also talk to De Sciglio explaining his choices to him. And perhaps Juventus could also decide by mutual agreement with the player to terminate his contract and end his experience in bianconero early. A situation, this one, that is absolutely to be evaluated and kept under observation. Inside the Torinese over the course of next summer anything could really happen.
