Sunday, May 19 predictions: Serie A, Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1

by Mark

Sunday May 19 predictions: last day in Premier League, Eredivisie and Ligue 1, games are also played in Serie A and La Liga.

The very long head-to-head match between Manchester City and Arsenal to win the Premier League title will end today: the Guardiola-coached team, ahead by two points after their success in the rematch against Tottenham, will have to beat West Ham to party regardless of the result of Arsenal, also clear favorites at home against Everton.

Brentford-Newcastle and Brighton-Manchester United, very important challenges in the European zone, promise goals galore as do Crystal Palace-Aston Villa and Liverpool-Wolverhampton, essentially useless in terms of the standings.

Predictions other matches

Ligue 1 goes into the archives this weekend as well. All nine matches of the thirty-fourth day are played at the same time, at 9 p.m. In the Champions League zone, a win is a must for Lille, which is dueling with Brest for third place. Fonseca’s team, strong with a better goal difference, is master of its own destiny. And in case of success with Nice – no one has done better at home – it will avoid the Champions League preliminaries, qualifying directly for the single round.

There is also the fight for sixth place between Lens and Lyon, which should win at home against Montpellier and Strasbourg, respectively.
