Lampard’s guests, on the other hand, come from six useful results in a row between league and cup and beat West Ham. There is little comment on who is in the best form at the moment.
Of course, there is a statistic to consider: in the last two home fixtures, Southampton have beaten the Liverpool blues on both occasions: two to nil in both 2020 and 2022. Could it happen again?
