Sinner challenges America: hands forward, the clock has started

by Mark

An exceptional sparring partner for Jannik Sinner. The news left everyone speechless: it’s already tomorrow.

With 40 medals and more golds than the Italian battalion had won in Tokyo, the Paris Olympics went great. All the more so when one considers that in 25 other competitions the bronze medal came close and that those fourth places are still worth so much, to the point that President Sergio Mattarella has well thought of also inviting the athletes protagonists of these feats to the September appointment at the Quirinale.

After the event at the Hill it will be time for the protagonists of the Games to start working towards the next edition of the Olympics. It will take four years, but already everything suggests that the Los Angeles Games will be pyrotechnic, unforgettable. Tom Cruise’s show was just a foretaste, but it is clear that the Americans will leave nothing to chance and spare no expense to ensure that the athletes and the public will have the craziest spectacle of all time.

And it may be early to think about the future, but not too early either. Jannik Sinner, for example, is already getting a makeover ahead of Los Angeles 2028. Not literally, but figuratively. His mural transposition is already ready for the next Olympics, and fans, needless to say, have already activated the timer.

Sparring exceptional partner for Sinner

The mural in question has appeared in the past few hours on the wall of a place that has played an inescapable role in the rise of the South Tyrolean. We are talking about the Tennis Club Milano Alberto Bonacossa, where Jannik basically started his career, participating twice in the junior tournament with wild cards.

And it is there that now stands the work that bears the signature of aleXsandro Palombo, a splendid depiction full of meaning created, precisely, to celebrate the beginning of the countdown ahead of the Los Angeles Games. In the mural, Sinner has the appearance of one of the characters from The Simpsons and wears, for the occasion, a T-shirt with LA 2028 written on it, in which the 5 circles symbolizing the competition have been replaced, for the occasion, by as many donuts, the mythical doughnuts so beloved by the inhabitants of Springfield.

He trains with an exceptional sparring partner, namely Homer Simpson. He challenges America, so to speak, to prepare his “rematch” and make up for his forfeit in Paris. A beautiful piece of work that, needless to say, sent the highlander’s fans into a frenzy.
