Returning to play a European final stage since 2000 – it was still called Yugoslavia at the time – the Balkans will likely have to contend with Denmark and Slovenia for second place. Quality, as usual, is not lacking, but Vlahovic and co. remain unpredictable and inconsistent. Instead, the formation is already done as far as the other roles are concerned: Zivkovic and Kostic will act on the flanks, while the defense will consist of Milenkovic, Veljkovic and Pavlovic.
In England the only one unavailable is Shaw, stopped by a muscle problem: his place, on the left, will be taken by Trippier. Instead, he has recovered Stones, who will be positioned in the center of defense alongside Guéhi. In attack, Southgate will rely on his most talented players: Saka, Bellingham and Foden behind Kane.

First official confrontation between Serbia and England, ready to face each other in a match that could already direct the qualification for one of the two. We do not have enough elements to go against Southgate’s men, who should therefore start off on the right foot by taking advantage of a talented but erratic and volatile Serbia.
