Roma-Juventus, Serie A: streaming, odds, predictions

Roma-Juventus is a match of the thirty-fifth day of Serie A and is played on Sunday at 20:45: odds, predictions, live TV, streaming.

The fight for Champions League qualification has been revived thanks to the extra place gained through the UEFA ranking and currently involves multiple teams. These include Roma and Juventus, ready to do battle in the eagerly awaited big match of the 35th day.

Framed last Sunday by Napoli (2-2), Daniele De Rossi’s men have retained fifth place but increasingly feel the breath on the neck of Atalanta, which is -2 and still has to recover the match with Fiorentina (a match that, it seems, could also be played at the end of the season). More relaxed, in this sense, are the Bianconeri, one step away from the goal. Massimiliano Allegri’s team, however, after a return leg that was clearly below expectations and in which it scored 13 points in 13 matches, can no longer afford further missteps if it does not want to be sucked into the tussle. Juventus, coming off a 0-0 draw with Milan, has not won in about a month and in recent weeks its only joy has been winning the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta, scheduled for May 15 at the Stadio Olimpico. The Lady will “probe the terrain” in the capital this weekend by paying a visit to the Giallorossi, a foot and a half out of the Europa League after a bitter 2-0 defeat in the first leg semifinal against Bayer Leverkusen.

A match decided basically by episodes but which confirmed a certain distance from the Germans, to whom next Thursday, in the fortress of the BayArena, it will be enough not to lose (or even to do so with no more than a goal difference) to detach the pass for the final in Dublin.

Roma-Juventus: latest lineup news

De Rossi forced to make a turnover, also thinking about the return match with Leverkusen. The Giallorossi coach is likely to make the former Dybala play off (Baldanzi in his place) while it will be a ballot between Lukaku and Abraham. Aouar will undermine captain Pellegrini, while in defense both Kristensen and Llorente will see each other again.

On the other side, Allegri will reintroduce the Chiesa-Vlahovic pair in attack and the only doubts of the Bianconeri coach concern the left lane, where Iling Jr. and Kostic are competing for a jersey. Only Alex Sandro is unavailable.

The prediction

An almost impossible schedule for Roma. The Giallorossi are currently in a situation where they can’t neglect either the cup or the league, but beating the Bianconeri would be crucial to keep fifth place and defend it from the assaults of Atalanta and Lazio. It goes without saying that the three points would serve the Capitolini most, who nevertheless appeared a bit on their legs against Leverkusen due to too many close engagements. A draw, in short, is not to be ruled out, given that on the other side is a Juventus side that can no longer win. Both should find their way to goal.

The probable lineups of Roma-Juventus

ROMA (4-3-2-1): Svilar; Kristensen, Mancini, Llorente, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Baldanzi, El Shaarawy; Lukaku.
JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Chiesa, Vlahovic.

POSSIBLE RESULT: 1-1
