Having clinched the French Cup final after winning one-nil in the semifinals against Rennes, Luis Enrique’s Psg are now thinking about the league. Although of thoughts there is not much more, given the huge lead over the second in the standings. It is 12 points ahead of Brest, so of problems the Parisians will have none. And they are obviously thinking about the Champions League, which will return next week.
A wide turnover, then, for the Spanish coach in tonight’s match, Saturday, April 6, against Clermont. A real miracle would be needed, but everyone believes very little. So despite different choices, with Mbappe even expected to start from the bench, there is no doubt who will win this match. The goal, though, might be to not take any goals. Psg is the third best defense in the league – it has the best attack instead – behind Brest and Nice.
