Parma-Milan, Serie A: tv, streaming, probable formations, prediction

by Mark

Parma-Milan is a match in the second day of Serie A and is played Saturday at 6:30 p.m.: stats, news, likely lineups, prediction, live TV, streaming.

After a preseason that had provided excellent insights, something more was expected from an AC Milan side that instead risked making a bad impression in the first day against Torino (2-2) at the San Siro. Some of new coach Paulo Fonseca’s choices – one above all to deploy former Chelsea man Loftus-Cheek in the midfield – did not convince and Paolo Vanoli’s Granata took advantage, coming close to a resounding victory.

The Rossoneri drew lifeblood from the substitutes, Morata and Okafor, who were able in the space of a few minutes to score a goal each and give the Diavolo a now unhoped-for draw (the Swiss’s goal came as time practically expired). Milan to be reviewed, in short, and for the moment postponed: whether Fonseca will have learned the lesson will be told by the away match in Parma against a team that, in spite of its newly promoted status, offered a great performance – especially in the first half – against Fiorentina and there is no doubt that at the points it would have deserved the victory. Fabio Pecchia’s men, despite coming from Serie B, showed that they have all the credentials to aspire to a quiet salvation thanks to a proven game and a clear identity. In fact, only a naivety of goalkeeper Suzuki a few minutes from the end allowed the Viola to find the equalizing goal (1-1) with a precise free kick by captain Biraghi.

Parma-Milan: the latest lineup news

Infermeria still full at Parma: missing Benedyczak, Di Chiara, Charpentier and Hernani. Delprato makes his return but doubts persist about his tactical placement. Many ballots on the three-quarter, where Sohm and Cyprien and Mihaila and Cancellieri vie for a jersey. Duel also on the left between Valeri and Balogh.

On the other hand, Fonseca could launch other new signings. Pavlovic and Fofana are bidding for a place in defense and midfield, while Emerson Royal is in a runoff with Calabria. The midfield this time will consist of the player just arrived from Monaco and Reijnders, ready to start again from 1′. In front, Morata is absent, struggling with an injury: his place is being contested by Okafor and Jovic, with the Swiss in the lead.

The Prediction

This Milan doesn’t give too many guarantees, with Torino the Rossoneri were too moody and the defense continues to show itself not very solid. The Diavolo at the “Tardini” has not lost since back in 2013 but against a Parma that plays well and has enthusiasm it might not have an easy time: we stay out of the final result assuming another match of at least one goal per side and at least two overall.

The probable formations of Parma-Milan

PARMA (4-2-3-1): Suzuki; Coulibaly, Delprato, Circati, Valeri; Bernabè, Estevez; Man, Sohm, Mihaila; Bonny.
MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Pavlovic, Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Leao; Okafor.

POSSIBLE RESULT: 1-2
