Nottingham Forest-Fulham, Premier League: likely lineups, predictions.

by Mike

Nottingham Forest-Fulham is a match of the thirty-first day of the Premier League and is played on Tuesday at 8:30pm: live TV, streaming, likely lineups, predictions.

Two draws in a row for Nottingham Forest, however, which have the flavor of two missed chances. Last Saturday the Tricky Trees had to settle for a point in their direct clash with Crystal Palace, with Wood replying early in the second half to Mateta’s guest goal (1-1).

An identical result to the one the Reds recorded before the break for national team commitments, drawing with Luton, another direct competitor, at Kenilworth Road. The problem is that during the break the club was joined by the news of 4 penalty points due to alleged financial fair play violations, and the standings are now much scarier. Pending the outcome of the appeals, Forest is floating dangerously on the relegation zone and is currently third-last along with Luton, on 22 points. Every match between now and the end of the tournament therefore becomes a battle to be won at all costs for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men. The four points were undoubtedly a tremendous blow, especially on a psychological level, but Yates and his teammates will have to find the energy to avert that slump that could plunge them into the Championship after only two seasons in the top flight.

Fulham now safe

Salvation is now in the bag for Fulham, who once lapped 40 points (they have 39), could try to have their say in a fight for seventh place that still has them in the running.

After all, the team coached by Portuguese Marco Silva has only 5 points less than West Ham: there are the conditions to give themselves a carefree end to the season, in which they will try to raise the bar. In this round, too, the Cottagers will be “referees” in the fiery struggle not to relegate: on Saturday they reeled in tail-end Sheffield United (3-3), caught up in full recovery. In the last month, the HCL have surrendered only to Wolverhampton, getting three wins in five games.

The prediction

Nottingham Forest have a huge opportunity against a team that has won only two away games and no longer has any concrete goals. A positive Reds result cannot be ruled out in a match of at least one goal on each side.

The probable lineups of Nottingham Forest-Fulham

NOTTINGHAM FOREST (4-2-3-1): Sels; Williams, Felipe, Murillo, Ola Aina; Yates, Sangaré; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.
FULHAM (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Adarabioyo, Bassey, Robinson; Palhinha, Reed; Iwobi, Andreas Pereira, Willian; Rodrigo Muniz.
