Spread over three days, the first day of Serie A concludes today with two postponements. Gasperini’s Atalanta is on stage in Lecce: in Salento, the Nerazzurri want to turn the page immediately after the defeat suffered in the European Super Cup against Real Madrid despite a good first half. In La Liga there is a very interesting postponement between Villarreal and Atletico Madrid: the Colchoneros have been strengthened in the market thanks to the arrival of Julian Alvarez but they will have to be careful at home of the Yellow Submarine.
With regard to goals, one can look to the German Cup: Eintracht Frankfurt should be able to impose itself on the other Eintracht, Braunschweig, a team that plays in the German cadet league, in a match of at least three goals total. Also potentially eventful is the match between Energie Cottbus and Werder Bremen.
