LEEDS – FULHAM | Sunday 3 pm
Between the two the newly promoted team seems to be Leeds, who have six points less than their next opponents and flirt dangerously with the red zone. Jesse Marsch’s side haven’t won for a long time – their last success dates back to August – and in the last three days of the season they have suffered three defeats in a row. The defeat against Arsenal was a bit of a setback, but the missteps against two direct competitors such as Crystal Palace and Leicester have caused concern. The bench of the American coach, in short, is no longer so solid, even if the club continues to give him confidence.
Magical moment instead for Fulham. The Londoners returned to winning ways in the midweek transfer window, beating Aston Villa 3-0 and prompting Steven Gerrard’s dismissal. No championship worries for the Bianconeri led by Portuguese coach Marco Silva, who are scoring with great consistency – but conceding a lot at the same time – and are ninth close to the Europa zone.
The Prediction
Fulham have more confidence than Leeds at the moment and should also score at Elland Road in a one-goal game
