Uncertainty continues to reign supreme in the 2022-23 Premier League’s fight for no relegation, which with ten days to go involves as many as nine teams. In the first of the two postponements of matchday number 30, Leeds and Crystal Palace, respectively 12th and 13th in the standings, face off.
The Eagles have 30 points, the Whites 28, but compared to the others they are the better placed, despite Bournemouth, third to last, being stuck on 27. It goes without saying that, in such a ‘pile-up’, any misstep could be detrimental and plunge those who currently appear to be out of danger into the relegation zone. For the Whites it was their second win in the last three days. Spaniard Javi Gracia, who took over as the season progressed, has been flawless so far and it is largely thanks to him that Leeds have improved considerably offensively, as evidenced by the nine goals scored in four games.

Leeds have never lost at home to equal opponents and should avoid defeat this time as well. However, we expect a lively match, with at least one goal each, especially after Crystal Palace’s prodigious offensive performance against Leicester, which looked like a shoot-out.
