Juventus-Monza, Serie A: streaming, odds, predictions.

by Mike

Juventus-Monza is a match valid for the thirty-eighth day of Serie A and is played on Saturday at 6 p.m.: odds, predictions, live TV, streaming.

Paolo Montero’s first Juventus – and the first without Massimiliano Allegri on the bench – was undecidable, with the Bianconeri managing to avoid a heavy defeat in extremis in Bologna against the team coached by that Thiago Motta who, it seems, could soon become the new “condottiero” of the Old Lady.

After ending up down by three goals, Juventus pulled out its attributes 10 minutes from the end, also taking advantage of the physical decline of the Felsinei: Chiesa, Milik and Yildiz brought the result back to a draw, preventing the Rossoblù from overtaking them in third place. Danilo and his teammates’ season is actually already over: beyond the affair involving Allegri, who was exonerated in the aftermath of winning the Coppa Italia, Juve put a trophy in their trophy cabinet, their first in three years, and achieved Champions League qualification, finishing in the top five. The goal, now, is to regain third place – purely symbolic – but to do so it will be necessary to beat Monza on the last day and to do so even with several goals to spare (at the moment the goal difference is worse than that of Bologna, paired on 68 points). Championship already virtually in the archives long ago also for the Brianzoli, who, like last year, achieved salvation with enormous advance. For coach Raffaele Palladino, however, this could be his last appearance on the biancorossa bench: a farewell, after two consecutive salvations, seems imminent (and physiological).

Juventus-Monza: the latest news on the lineups

Montero might change something compared to Bologna: on the right side there is to replace the disqualified Cambiaso and Weah is preparing to take his place. In defense, Rugani and Alex Sandro ask for space, while in midfield McKennie seems to be slightly ahead of Miretti. The coach will also give minutes to the returning Fagioli, who has just returned to the side after his disqualification due to illegal betting. In front, finally, it will be the turn of the usual Vlahovic and Chiesa.

On the other side, Palladino also plans to give space to those who have played less. In the midfield usual ballot between Gagliardini and Bondo, in goal instead Sorrentino can take the place of Di Gregorio, who is not at his best. The list of unavailable players is quite thick: the various Maldini, Andrea Carboni and Ciurria are not available.

The prediction

Classic end-of-season match, in an almost seaside atmosphere. Juventus should close with a win, which they have been missing even since early April (six draws in a row since then for the Bianconeri). In all likelihood, there will be no shortage of goals at the Stadium, and Monza will likely score at least one.

The probable lineups of Juventus-Monza

JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Weah, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Iling Jr.; Vlahovic, Chiesa.
MONZA (4-2-3-1): Di Gregorio; Birindelli, Izzo, Pablo Marì, Kyriakopoulos; Bondo, Pessina; Zerbin, Colpani, Mota Carvalho; Djuric.

POSSIBLE RESULT: 2-1
