Inter-Juventus official lineups: predicted scorers, cautions and marksmen for the challenge scheduled at San Siro. Here are the latest tips.
Everything is ready for the whistle to start one of the most anticipated derbies of Italy in recent years. At the Meazza, the league’s first and second strongest sides face off in a match with enormous specific weight. After the 1-1 draw in the first leg, there is much anticipation to see what the two teams’ approach to the match will be. On the one hand, Inter has on its side the first potential match ball to address the championship; on the other hand, Juventus wants to send another important message to its eternal rival. Below are the choices of the two coaches:
INTER (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro Martinez.
JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Szczesny, Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Yildiz, Vlahovic.
Inter-Juventus, the scorers prediction
The law of large numbers could also fall on tonight’s confrontation. Juventus has yet to be whistled against a penalty kick this season. Inter counts among its ranks a genuine sniper from the eleven meters: that Calhanoglu who can prove to be a genuine factor even with conclusions from the medium-long distance. The Turk could represent the winning wild card in goalscoring optics to be carefully advocated. On the opposite front, watch out especially for Dusan Vlahovic: the Serbian striker has never scored at the San Siro in the nine appearances he has trodden the Milanese grass. Juventus’ No. 9, who is going through an important period of form, wants to send another important message. Who knows, replicating the first leg match, the former Fiorentina man might not be able to find the space to score at least one goal of his own.
Probable cautions and shooters for Inter-Juventus
Barella on one side and Rabiot on the other: the two midfielders are the most mouth-watering shooter options. Impossible, however, not to consider the options leading to Cambiaso and Dimarco, genuine thorns in the side for opposing defenses. At least one shot in the goal mirror, finally, should also be taken by Mkhitaryan. As far as possible cautions are concerned, on the other hand, headlights will mainly be on Gatti and Locatelli (often cautioned in this first part of the season). On the other side, an expendable name in the key of cards is that of Barella.
