After chomping at the bit in the championship, Simone Inzaghi’s Inter are ready to file it away for good now. In light of Juventus’ defeat accrued at the “Maradona,” in fact, the Nerazzurri have a great chance, winning against Genoa, to send the Bianconeri to minus 15. The engagement against Gilardino’s side, which managed to stop Lautaro Martinez in the first leg, however, does not promise to be a walk in the park for Inzaghi’s battleship. Let’s take a look at the choices of the two coaches:

Inter-Genoa, the scorers prediction
Lautaro Martinez is having his most prolific season of his career in terms of goals. However, at least for this one, the scorers’ advice converges on “Toro’s” wardmate: Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean striker, who is carving out a starring role also because of Marcus Thuram’s injury, has thrown up very interesting cues. Who knows, in addition to being an assist man, Sanchez might not be able to put his stamp on the goalscorer’s table as well. Alternatively, another option that is far from utopian could be considered: dry in recent outings, Mkhitaryan could return to scoring in front of his own public, perhaps with an insertion of his own.
Inter-Genoa, probable cautions and shooters
This may sound like a monotonous litany, but Dimarco’s candidacy among the possible marksmen is too tempting not to be seized upon. On the other side, Dumfries, too, should not struggle too much to hurl at least one conclusion into the opponent’s goal mirror. Also intriguing is the profile of Barella, who is often dangerous from mid to long range. Messias could be chosen from the Genoa ranks: the former AC Milan man often manages to show up in the danger zone and it is not excluded that he could trouble Sommer. Possible cautions Bani and Sabelli: The obsessive pace of Inter’s maneuver could force Genoa to spend some cards especially from the waist up.
