Brighton-Tottenham is a Premier League Week 10 match played on Saturday at 18:30 Italian time: stats, line-ups, predictions, live streaming TV

The match between Brighton and Tottenham has all the makings of one of the most vibrant matches of the Premier League’s tenth round, at least on paper. The Seagulls coached by Roberto De Zerbi – who currently occupy fourth place in the standings, one point ahead of Chelsea – are fresh from a super performance at Anfield Road, where they came very close to a resounding success against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. On the strength of a bold and never dull playing proposition, Brighton have lost only one game in this early part of the season, often putting in exciting performances.

Tottenham, who failed to win against Eintracht Frankfurt in a disappointing 0-0 draw, will be looking to put behind them the crushing defeat to Arsenal, which has undermined Conte’s side’s growth. Spurs have no intention of losing touch with the top of the class, and they will clearly exploit their weapons to get the full spoils. Once again the hosts will not be able to rely on Jakub Moder, who is out with a knee problem, and Mwepu may also be out. More problems for Conte, who will be without Tanganga, Kulusevski and Lucas Moura through injury, while Emerson Royal is disqualified. That’s why Perisic could also be adapted on the right flank, with Sessegnon on the left flank: on the three-quarter space from the start for Richarlison, who should support Kane and Son.

The Prediction

Tottenham can’t afford to leave any more points on the road, but should find it very difficult to get the better of Brighton, who have the characteristics to make life difficult for Spurs. In a match in which both teams are expected to score, the visitors could still manage to snatch at least a draw.

Brighton-Tottenham’s likely line-up

  • BRIGHTON (3-4-1-2) Sanchez; Veltman, Dunk, Webster; March, Mac Allister, Caicedo, Estupinan; Trossard, Welbeck, Gross.
  • TOTTENHAM (3-4-2-1) Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Perisic, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Richarlison, Kane, Son.

POSSIBLE RESULT: 1-2
