In their first fifteen games Wolves have done even worse than Everton, scraping together barely 10 points and scoring the pittance of eight goals. After having given the sack to the Portuguese coach Lage, the black and gold team will start again with the former Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui, called to ‘revive’ a team that does not lack talent but is unable to unblock itself from an offensive point of view.

Reversing the negative trend is the main objective of these two teams built for more ambitious goals than a simple salvation. Wolves’ incredible goal drought seems to be over, at least judging by the results of their three friendlies, in which they have always scored. Lopetegui might be able to reverse the trend right away and that is why we believe Wolverhampton can score at least one goal in this salvation challenge with Everton. A draw is not to be ruled out at Goodison Park.
