Everton-Manchester United is a Premier League Week 10 match played on Sunday at 20:00 CET: stats, line-ups, predictions, live streaming, TV stream

EVERTON-MANCHESTER UNITED | Sunday 8pm

Following their stunning debacle at the hands of Manchester City, United are desperate to bounce back and get back on track after an initial slump that saw ten Hag’s men get back on course. Clearly Everton have no intention of playing the sacrificial victim, quite the contrary. Lampard’s side want to make a decisive difference to a season in which they are finding it difficult to find an acceptable continuity of performance.

As confirmed by the Everton coach himself, Dominic Calvert Lewin is available again after recovering from a serious injury last August but is unlikely to start. Defensive emergencies for the hosts, with Godfrey, Patterson, Holgate and Yerri Mina out through injury. Possible chance from the start for Anthony Gordon, who is recovering his best form. Problems also for ten Hag: Wan-Bissaka, van de Beek and Maguire will not take part in the match, while Varane is not at his best but should grit his teeth. Luke Shaw and Martial will be given space from the first minute.

The prediction

Everton-United will be a match in which both teams should score. The Red Devils may be more technically gifted, but they have shown too much defensive uncertainty in the early part of the season. Therefore, even if the visitors do not lose, they should still concede at least one goal.

The Everton-United line-up

  • EVERTON Pickford; Coleman, Coady, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Onana, Gueye, Iwobi; Gordon, Maupay, Gray
  • UNITED De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; McTominay, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial

PROBABLY RESULT 1-2
