Cagliari-Bologna is a match of the tenth day of Serie A and is played on Tuesday at 6:30 pm: odds, prediction, live TV and streaming.
The midweek Serie A round begins at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari: facing Davide Nicola’s men, fresh from the 2-0 defeat in Udine – the first after 4 positive results – and Bologna, unable to play over the weekend due to the weather alert that prevented the match between Vincenzo Italiano’s Rossoblù and AC Milan from taking place.
Curiously enough, the two teams have the same points in the standings (9), despite chasing different goals: if the Sardinians dream of reaching salvation as soon as possible, the Felsinei must try not to dissipate the enthusiasm inherited from last season, which ended with Bologna fifth in the standings and with the historic qualification to the Champions League. This is a very difficult mission: the former Fiorentina coach, beyond a market that considerably weakened the Rossoblù squad, has so far failed to make Thiago Motta not regret it. Since the season began, Bologna has beaten only Monza between Champions and the league: evident are the limitations, both offensive and defensive, of a team that has been orphaned by its leaders and is proving unstable even over the course of 90 minutes (see the comeback suffered with Genoa). Cagliari, on the other hand, has improved in recent weeks, however much the Udine defeat represented a step backward for the islanders, who have been called upon to keep their distance from the red zone.
Cagliari-Bologna: the latest lineup news
Cagliari’s lineup is not expected to differ too much from the one that faced Udinese last Friday: the only change is Deiola in the director’s chair in place of the disqualified Makoumbou. Azzi and Augello will act on the flanks, while in attack Piccoli will be the only point supported by Gaetano.
Italiano, not having had to face Milan over the weekend, will be able to limit the turnover. In attack there is Castro and behind him it will be Urbanski’s turn, surrounded by Orsolini and Ndoye. In the middle, the Moro-Freuler pair is seen again, with Fabbian ready to provide support from the bench.
