The Sassuolo.
Sassuolo withstands Bologna’s first few minutes of aggression after which it takes a bit more of the field forcing the Rossoblù to wait. The teams study each other with excessive respect… Then at 14′, Skorupski misses the disengagement and serves Kristian Thorstvedt: it’s easy for the midfielder to unlock the Emilian derby just in front of the goal. Bologna responded with Zirkzee who had two good chances to equalize: the Dutchman lacked precision or nastiness. On the third attempt, at 24′, Zirkzee makes no mistake and finds the equalizer (the deflection on goal is by Viti).
After ten minutes Sassuolo took the lead again with Volpato who moved the ball to his left and from the edge put it into the seventh. In the second half there is an immediate chance for Bologna with Urbanski who kicks just wide. At 67′, Calafiori sends the ball wide. Fabbian finds the equalizer with a header at 73′. Ferguson scores the 3-2 at 83′. Five minutes later, Saelemaekers scores Bologna’s fourth goal.
