Matteo Berrettini decided to shout it out in a rather unusual way: very clear message, leaving no room for interpretation.
Those who believed that the love story between Matteo Berrettini and tennis had come to an end were wrong. The Roman champion still has something to say on the court and proved it not only by winning two titles during last summer, but also in Bologna during the group stage of the legendary Davis Cup.
He won three out of three matches and made a decisive contribution, in fact, to the Italian national tennis team, which once again succeeded in the not easy feat of hitting the Finals of the well-known team competition. We will only know in November whether Filippo Volandri’s battalion will be able to make an encore and win back the salad bowl, but for now all that remains is to enjoy the joy of the moment and keep our fingers crossed.
Berrettini, for his part, seems impatient at the mere thought of the time to leave for Malaga. A few hours ago he published a post that was emblematic in that sense, a carousel of photos of Bologna accompanied by a caption that says a lot about how happy he is to wear the italtennis jersey again. And while thoughts flew to the upcoming Spanish trip, Matteo also found time to engage in a rather unusual activity for a sportsman of his caliber.
Berrettini on the catwalk: the detail did not go unnoticed
Fashion lovers will no doubt have noticed that he was there, too, a few hours ago at Milan Fashion Week. Not as a spectator, which wouldn’t have surprised us, but as, hear ye hear ye, a model.

Last Sept. 18, he trod the Milanese catwalk by walking the runway for Boss, the German brand that has been dressing him from head to toe for two years now and for which he is testimonial. The brand wanted him, and not only him, at the presentation of the spring/summer 2025 collection, certain that his presence would intrigue, and not a little, the audience present. Which punctually happened, proving that Berrettini as a model is liked and a lot.
His look struck a chord, and the fact that Matteo played his cards close to the vest also aroused some interest. Complementing his look was, in his backpack, a racket, a detail that shows that he has no intention of giving up his favorite accessory, much less tennis.
