Liechtenstein vs Kazakhstan prediction: first toast

by Mike

Second day of qualifying for the next World Cup for these two teams, who both started with a defeat. The hosts, always at home, against North Macedonia, while the visitors are always away on the field of Wales. In short, not the best.

There is clearly little chance that either team will qualify for next year’s World Cup. In fact, Belgium is also in the group and, barring any major upsets, should be able to take first place and secure direct qualification. The other two teams will battle it out for second place, which at least gives them a chance to play in the playoffs. Liechtenstein and Kazakhstan, in short, are the two bottom teams in Group J. But there is a big difference between them, as we all know.

After four years of defeats, many of them heavy, and a few draws, the hosts finally secured a victory in a friendly against Hong Kong in 2024. And it is only against teams of this level that they can hope to get results. Kazakhstan, on the other hand, occasionally gets some satisfaction. Let’s not get carried away, but it’s clear that they have some technical quality. That’s why we believe that the visitors can win a few games, at least in this qualifying round. At least two, in this doubleheader, obviously.

Odds comparison

Kazakhstan’s victory is priced at 1.37 on Goldbet, Lottomatica and 1.37 on Snai.

The prediction

Obviously, and it’s clear, we’re not expecting a thrilling match. The overall technical level is so low that we find it difficult to imagine this match ending with many goals. And we find it equally difficult to imagine the away team not winning. Yes, that’s right. A 2 is definitely on the cards.
