Slavia Prague-Milan official lineups: predicted scorers, cautioned and marksmen of the challenge valid for the return leg of the Europa League round of 16.
Despite a shower of goals in the first leg, the engagement against Slavia Prague will have to be taken with a grain of salt by Stefano Pioli’s Milan. Far from being impregnable when attacked at the right times, the Rossoneri rearguard has shown quite a few limitations. Leao and his teammates will have to treasure all this in a match that, for different reasons, promises to be intense and open to different scenarios. Below are the choices of the two coaches:
SLAVIA PRAGUE (4-2-3-1) Stanek; Vicek, Holes, Zima, Boril; Masopust, Oscar; Doudera, Provod, Zmrzly; Chytil
MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Adli, Musah; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
Slavia Prague-Milan, the scorers prediction
If they manage to contain Slavia Prague’s initial assaults, as the minutes go by Milan could hurt their opponents by exploiting above all the strength and energy of their offensive outsides. A protagonist in the last part of the season, Rafa Leao is ready to give his fans another important European night. The Portuguese striker could have a decisive impact at the challenge. With his tears, in fact, the Lusitanian can represent that arrow in Pioli’s chessboard with which to close the games definitively. The choice for the possible scorer this time falls squarely on Leao.
Probable cautions and shooters for Slavia Prague-Milan
He doesn’t seem to see himself until…he scores. Combining quantity and quality, Loftus Cheek has also rediscovered himself as a goleador. The former Chelsea man – thanks mainly to a great sense of position and flair for insertions – could find the finish at least once. A true standard bearer for Milan this season, Pulisic himself has great chances to show off: the feeling is that the right-wing outfielder could hurl at least two shots into the opponent’s mirror.
Also liked is the option Theo Hernandez, always a factor when he starts with the ball at the foot. On the other side, however, Milan’s headlights will have to be on – among others – Provod: thanks to a good tactical intelligence, it is not excluded that the Slavia Prague midfielder can warm Maignan’s gloves at least once. Possible cautions, however, for Vicek, Zima and Adli: often slow and cumbersome, all three could end up in the match director’s notebook.
