Europa League, predictions for Nov. 28 at 6:45 p.m.

by Martin

Europa League, after a thrilling win with Tottenham, Osimhen and Icardi’s Galatasaray visit Dutch side AZ Alkmaar: predictions.

All behind Lazio, the only team with full points after the first four days of the Europa League group stage. Behind the Biancocelesti, on 10 points, however, are as many as five teams, including Osimhen and Icardi’s Galatasaray. The Istanbul club is still undefeated (three wins and one draw) and boasts the second-best attack after Ajax (12 goals, compared to eight conceded).

In this round Okan Buruk’s men will take the field in the 6:45 p.m. round and visit the Dutchmen of AZ Alkmaar, located in mid-table (they are currently 17th). A tricky trip – three weeks ago AZ beat Gala’s historic rival Fenerbahçe decisively – but the reigning Turkish champions, coming off seven wins in a row, should come out of AFAS Stadion with a positive result, in a match that promises goals. Favorable round also for another Turkish team, Besiktas, which, for public order reasons, faces the second-last in the standings, Maccabi Tel Aviv, on the neutral field in Debrecen (Hungary): the Israelis are stuck on 0 points, have barely scored two goals and cannot pose a credible threat to Immobile and his teammates.

The predictions on the other matches

At the bottom of the standings is also Dinamo Kiev, which will try to win its first points on this day and especially to score its first goal (it is the only one still without goals).

We believe that the Ukrainians can at least avoid defeat against the Czechs Viktoria Plzen, who, on the other hand, have scored six points and are in the midst of the race for qualification. Just a glue away from the highly coveted eighth place – crucial to qualify directly for the round of 16 – we find Lyon: the Gones cannot underestimate Qarabag (a long away trip that usually hides so many pitfalls) but in the end their greater technical content should make the difference. For the same reason, the Greeks of PAOK have an opportunity to turn the page at home to the Latvians of RFS, finding their first success in the competition. We close with two matches that promise to be quite eventful: Athletic Bilbao-Elfsborg and Anderlecht-Porto.
