BODO/GLIMT – PSV | Thursday 9pm
With last week’s victory against Arsenal at home, Psv secured their pass for the second phase of the Europa League. Now, as the Gunners are two points ahead and play against last-place Zurich, to think that the Dutch can take first place seems exaggerated, however. Yes, it should definitely be a ‘marked’ match between Bodo and Psv, with the Norwegians needing a win to keep their eyes off the result at the Emirates. The motivations are clearly different and Psv might even resort to a massive turnover in order not to risk anything. The round of 16 is in the bag
Returning at least to the Conference League at the moment is evidently the goal of the host team, who lost out last week in Switzerland, thus keeping open the possibility of a reversal on the final day on Thursday evening. But the feeling, of course, is that Bodo can take the entire stake, thus going to play in the same event that saw them play in last year’s game.
The Prediction
A race that as said seems marked. A match that as mentioned could give Bodo qualification to the Conference League. Psv have nothing more to ask, it is not possible to think about first place in the group, especially going by what is Arsenal’s home commitment.
