Betis-Sparta Prague is a match valid for the second day of the Europa League group stage: tv, streaming and predictions
On matchday two, Pellegrini’s Betis are already on their last legs after the surely unexpected defeat at Rangers on their debut. A match that started badly for the Spaniards and ended worse with a debacle that was not really predictable given the difference in values on the pitch that was, and is, there for all to see.
And yet the Scots pulled off the trick by cornering the Andalusians who now host Sparta Prague, who are currently first in the group after their victory against Aris. The moment is therefore delicate for Betis, also because in the championship things are not going in the best way: the team has not yet found that continuity of results that at these levels is of fundamental importance. In general, then, the guests are better off, having lost only once in the season against Dinamo Zagreb in the last qualifying round of the Europa League and then overturning, even in a resounding way, the 3-1 result of the away match. In short, an important moment that should be stopped by a Betis team that, as explained before, has only one result at its disposal.
A match then that seems to be addressed and that should not offer any surprises unlike what happened in the first round of this competition. Pellegrini knows very well that he has no chance. And he will certainly send out the best possible formation in order not to risk anything.
The Prediction
Betis stronger and Betis will take the victory in a match that should give at least three goals in total. It is almost the last resort for the Spaniards, whose minimum goal this season is to win the group stage despite the uphill climb. But nothing is precluded for now.
