In the Azerbaijani league, Gurban Gurbanov’s team on Friday broke a streak of six straight wins, drawing 2-2 with Turan Tovuz, but remains at the top of the Premyer Liqasi standings, tied on points (20) with Zirə.

Leverkusen right now is bursting with health and really looks like it can fight for the title along with the Bundesliga big boys. Xabi Alonso-who should not overdo the turnover-is likely to get another win, the one that will most likely allow him to mortgage first place. The total goals could be at least three in the BayArena match.
