The Norwegians secured passage to the round in the first leg. Bodo destroyed Zalgiris 5-0 without any problems and Tuesday’s away match will be a mere formality for the team that was eliminated by Roma in the Conference League last year. A challenge, that of last 3 August, practically closed in the first half with a double lead that was then made much wider thanks to three more goals in the second half. Usually, in these cases, when a visiting team has closed the qualification discourse in the first confrontation, in the return match they put little effort in and then there could be some little joke. Maybe even a completely different result could come out than you might expect.
Yes, maybe a draw. Maybe with one goal each. Maybe, of course. But at least a three-goal challenge overall. That’s for sure.
The match between Zalgiris and Bodo/Glimt scheduled for Tuesday at 6pm and valid for the return leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League, will not be broadcast live on TV or streaming in Italy. No platform, satellite or streaming, has bought the rights to the preliminary round of Europe’s top competition.
The prediction
A match with at least three goals in total. A match that could also give Zalgiris a draw, which would be an almost unequal result. In short, with Bodo’s qualification in the bag, there is little chance of a match without much excitement.
